Violin Solo
Arcangelo Corelli (1653-1713)
Newspapers reported that the third Sydney Amateur Concert saw John Edwards and George Sippe perform a 'solo for violin with violoncello accompaniment' from Corelli's Opus 5, a collection of twelve violin sonatas published in 1700.
